Javere trained at Spa Tech University in Westbrook and holds a board certification in therapeutic massage and an Advanced Neuromuscular Therapy certification. His 8 years of licensed practice span clinical settings, luxury spa environments — including Cliff House Spa in Wells and Adeline Spa in Portland — and mobile practice throughout Portland and Southern Maine.
Javere Shaw is the owner and lead mobile massage therapist behind Hands of Eden, serving Portland and Southern Maine since 2018.
Mobile massage made sense from the start. Clients recover better when they don't have to drive home. They're more comfortable, more open, and the work lands deeper when they're already in their own space.
Outside the table, he's a green flower connoisseur, an avid gamer and streamer, and someone who takes his animals seriously — Rorschach the rabbit, Violet the cat, Dyxie an 8-year American Bulldog, and Monroe, a rescued pit terrier mix who showed up three years ago and never left. He lives in Portland with his girlfriend.

John has been a licensed bodyworker since 2020, following his graduation from Spa Tech's Therapeutic Massage program. He specializes in — and teaches — Deep Tissue techniques, and keeps regular hours at a luxury spa in Portland's West End.
His laid-back, intuitive, and grounded nature puts clients at ease from the first minute. John is serious in his craft — without the sterility. He brings clinical knowledge to every session and meets you as a fellow human.
