Your Session Preparation Guide
Space Needs: Please clear an area roughly 6x10 ft to allow the therapist to move freely around the massage table on all sides.
Climate Control: Keep the room warm (72–75°F). Your body temperature will naturally drop as you relax during the session.
Pre-Care: Sip water before your therapist arrives to aid muscle responsiveness, and have a glass ready for when you finish.
Cleanliness: Having a fresh shower prior to your appointment ensures better absorption of oils and optimal hygiene.
Focus: Kindly secure pets in a separate room and silence your electronic devices to ensure an uninterrupted experience.
- Travel Policy:
Distance Fees: Should the travel time to your location exceed forty minutes, a fee of .80 cents a mile is established.
Urgency Requests: For bookings made on the same day or late-stage modifications to the appointment, a $40 convenience fee may be added.

Preparing For Your Appointment
Before we begin, a comprehensive health intake form must be submitted. This document allows the therapist to evaluate your physical history and any medical conditions to ensure a safe session. All personal information is kept strictly private.
Massage therapy is not suitable for all medical conditions. Please contact us if you have recently undergone surgery, have circulatory issues, active skin flare-ups, or if a doctor has suggested you avoid bodywork. Your physical safety is our primary concern.
Expectant Mothers
We provide specialized care for pregnant clients. Simply let us know during the booking process so we can prepare the proper support and techniques for your specific trimester.
Setting the Stage
Please ensure there is a quiet, comfortable space for the equipment, with enough room for the practitioner to move around all sides of the table. A tranquil room temperature and minimal distractions create the ideal healing environment. We kindly ask that pets remain in a different room.
Professional Equipment
Your therapist provides a professional-grade table, sterilized linens, and all necessary oils and lotions. Every piece of equipment is sanitized between clients. If your practitioner feels unwell, we will reschedule your session immediately to protect your health.
Draping and Respect
We utilize professional draping at all times. Only the body part being actively worked on is ever exposed. You always have control over the session and may ask to stop or change pressure at any moment.
Hands of Eden enforces a strict zero-tolerance policy regarding any inappropriate behavior. Any violation of professional boundaries will result in the immediate termination of the session at full cost.
Rescheduling Due to Illness
If you have a fever, cough, or any contagious symptoms, please stay home. We offer penalty-free rescheduling for illness within 24 hours of your start time.
