Essential Preparation Checklist

  • Clear a 6x10 ft space: Ensure there is enough room for the therapist to set up a full-sized massage table and comfortably walk around all four sides.

  • Set the temperature: Aim for a warm room (around 72–75°F / 22–24°C). Body temperature drops quickly during a massage when you are lying still.

  • Hydrate beforehand: Drink a glass of water before the session to keep muscles hydrated, and have a glass ready for afterward.

  • Shower prior to arrival: Freshly cleaned skin helps massage oils or lotions absorb better and keeps the environment hygienic.

  • Contain pets and secure distractions: Place pets in another room so they don't trip the therapist or jump on the table. Turn your phone on silent.

  • Travel Time Exceeding 40 Minutes: If travel time to the client's home exceeds 40 minutes, a travel fee will be added to compensate for the additional time and distance.

  • Same-Day Special Requests: If a booking requires same-day scheduling or customized modifications made on the day of the appointment, an additional fee may apply.
